Independently Owned Phatman Boardshops Redefines the Skate and Snowboard Retail Industry in Western New York

By expanding and remodeling the East Amherst Phatman1 location and relocating the Tonawanda, NY Phatman2 location. Each store is designed
to create a lasting experience for Phatman customers, with a reworked store layout. At each new store Phatman customers of all ages, both men
and women have access to the latest in Skate and Snowboard products and fashions.

Buffalo, NY February 5th 2009 – After 14 years of retail service in WNY, numerous shop locations, a skatepark, contests, two full length skate and
snowboard films, and countless community events; Phatman Boardshops has done it again with a new look at both of their locations. The shop’s goal
is to provide a functional store aesthetic, extensive product inventory, with a focus on customer service and appreciation.

With a new look, comes a new direction.
In 2009, Phatman looks to overcome economy instability with a return to its roots and progressive focus on the future. Phatman is launching a series of
in-store and local lifestyle events focusing on music, art, and youth cultures.

The East Amherst, NY Phatman1 recently underwent a major reconstruction by doubling in size to over 3000 sq feet. Phatman1 owner Jesse King:
“The expansion allows us to showcase our sneaker inventory. Being independently owned gives us the opportunity to give customers more product
options. Phatman1 has something for every lifestyle out there. A large portion of our customer base doesn’t skateboard but they want an independent
look different from the mall. We offer that at the shop.”

In January, Phatman2 owner Chris Naugle purchased an 8,000 sq ft, 3-unit plaza. Naugle has since has relocated Phatman2 into a 4000 sq ft retail
space.

Phatman2 owner Chris Naugle:
“The new location has allowed us to expand our inventory and showcase our product better. We have the freedom to do whatever we want at Phatman2.
This spring and summer we plan on hosting several monthly skateboard events. These events are a chance to have fun and give something back to our
customers.”
